Terms of Service:

            Payment and Shipment:

    • We accept PayPal, Stripe (Domestic only) and Money Order.
    • Requesting an invoice takes additional processing time.
    • Once payment is received, your order will be shipped within 48 hours*

*Orders placed on Fridays after 2 pm CST are not guaranteed to be shipped until the following Monday.

    • A USPS Tracking # is provided for all shipping options
    • Once Orders have been scanned into the mailing service, The Element Emporium is not at fault for lost or delayed packages.  We will work to try to find all lost packages and will submit lost parcel searches. In some, but not all cases, we may offer free or discounted options to help the buyer get some or all of the parts that were lost.
    • Insurance can be purchased upon request. Please ask for a quote and send a message requesting insurance.  The appropriate fee will be added.
    • Shipping methods are all USPS.
    • Shipping costs are averaged to be as fair as possible while maintaining a seamless checkout process.
  • Make sure your PayPal Address matches your shipping address as our system only picks up the PayPal address.  We try to catch mismatches but some may slip through and then your package will be shipped to the wrong location. The element Emporium is not at fault for incorrect addresses in PayPal.

Part Condition/Refunds:

    • Pieces listed as "used" are used, and you should expect this. They may show wear or slight discolorations. "Used" pieces will never include broken, chewed, scratched, colored upon, or excessively discolored or worn parts. If you are concerned about the condition of a used part, please message before buying so we can ensure you are informed.   Note: this especially applies to tiles and panels! If you want shiny tiles, order new. Used tiles are almost always rubbed and scuffed enough to remove the shine. Pictures of any lot can be emailed upon request.
    • We expect your order to be completed to the best of our ability.  If a buyer is missing parts, parts are incorrect, the wrong color, or broken, the buyer will have the option to have a new part sent (if it is in stock or we can acquire it in a timely manner) or get a refund for the missing or broken part.  (In some cases pictures may be requested to see the condition of the claim.) We work to deliver our buyers a large array of piece options and we have to source large amounts of pre-owned LEGO to provide that. Sometimes pieces slip through in poor condition and we strive to make all orders complete to our buyers expectations.

 

Cancel Requests:

    • If while an order is being processed, the Element Emporium determines a piece is too poor to sell or an inventory discrepancy occurs and a piece is not available, we will contact the buyer. The buyer may then choose a refund of the piece in question or may cancel the order for a full refund with no restocking fee.  We understand that this is our error and should not be passed on to our buyers.
